Are black men really bigger?

how is asking for evidence akin to believing a myth?

All I asked for were links to evidence with respect to your statement and you gave me a Wikipedia article...!?????

Try again. I want evidence/studies that back up your claim. If something has been debunked, sure there is bountiful evidence?
Never mind. I just read the last few pages of this thread and it seems believing this myth is of great importance to you. Also, the wikipedia page summarizes the various studies and provides a link to them, it's not some random opinion.

Still, I don't expect you ever plan on changing your mind.

So...that’s a no? I’m always on the side of evidence. The Tanzanian study was proven to be illegitimate because children as young as 10 were measured, which is why the average penis length was far below 5 inches.
And they were NOT measures erect.

Also, based on the BJUI in the Wiki link you provided:

I just follow this tread. I think the user above me is really looking at the evidence. I even read some for me, and I don’t even see many Latino men were used for the studies and I have mostly Africa ancestry. Both Africa studies have men under 18 years measured so I don’t think they are good studies, also because the studies was used for something else like medical purpose.

If you actually read the studies, you would realise otherwise.

If you take the study from Tanzania, it's a voluntary study done in connection with circumcision on healthy participants. The measurements were done as stretched flaccid.

The participants was grouped in 3 age categories; 10-13, 14-18 and 19-49. Only the last age group is used by Veale et al as clearly stated twice in the study. This has also been mentioned here several times already.

The average length for the 19-49 age group was 11.5 cm with the 25 percentile at 10.7 cm and the 75 percentile at 12.3 cm.

If you take the Nigerian study, it was done as a voluntary study on healthy adults between 30-65 to test if there's correlation between the size of the male buttocks and the penile length (apparently it's a common belief in parts of Nigeria that small buttocks indicates a long penis).

The measurements were done as stretched flaccid and showed an average of 13.37 cm - ranging from 7.5 to 19.5 cm.

The BMI and circumference around the buttocks was also measured. BMI had no significant correlation. The study do however indicate a significant correlation to the size of the buttocks - although contrary to the local belief, it showed bigger buttocks correlated to longer penile length.

I guess it's our turn to song "I like big butts"...

^^Hmm, I usually don’t write on here often, just look in the fun threads. I write only because you quote me. English is my third language, but I am good with the numbers as I do studies for undergraduate work.

In which part of the studies do you see the groupings by age? I cannot see it. And to add more, the Veale et al study says 253 men in Tanzania ages 19-47, but the 253 number was the original number use in the study with males 10-47. So that cannot be right because the number have to be less if they start with 19 years old. And the 11.5 cm in Veale is the same number as the 11.5cm for the whole group of 10-47.

So that is not correct here. I think there maybe a mistake in the Veale study. I also do not see south America in those studies.

Good catch with the numbers. I didn’t even catch that myself. So yeah, the BJUI study is inaccurate. You’re also right about South American (are you from there?). These studies are 98% European/South Asian, and BJUI states that no conclusions can be made based on race because of it. So, no, this is not a good source to back up a claim as it’s heavily biased toward men in those particular areas:

I have heard about men in the Congo, Zimbabwe and Uganda complaining about condom sizes, allegedly the typical brands are too small. (Men complained they were breaking too easily.... I know the feeling.)The Ugandan government even addressed this issue to combat HIV.

I’m sure there are articles online about it.

I believe it. There were 5 black guys I've been with total the condom did not fit on their dicks at all really..and the condoms were the biggest there are. I'm white and never had a problem with them lol and all the white guys I've even with never had condom size problems haha

American women have told me the Haitians, Congolese and Jamaicans ect on the east coast have been more hung than African American men on average .

haitans have a whopping 80% African heritage and this is due to being secluded on an island away from other ethnicities.

Even Caribbean African celebrities r know for being hung like safaree and Jason derelo who are both Jamaican and haitan respectively.

Ugh! I remember I tried on a condom in college. The free ones they give out. Instant rip after 3 strokes lol!

That’s when I knew something was up.

Interesting. I can’t confirm, but Blacks in the US do have slightly more European DNA than our Caribbean brothers and sisters.

Look at table 2 in the study.

Look at table 2 in the study.

See here in the photos. The study writes 253 men in Tanzania. The Veale study also writes 253 men in Tanzania as well. If they only use the men age 19 and over, then it will be less than 253, right? And how many men were between the age of 19-47 out of the total. And the average is 11.5cm for the Tanzania and Veale report that same numbwr. That is incorrct about the ages because the numbers are the same for the both studies. And more, the size is 11.5 cm, they have to use kids because that will have to make the men of Tanzania the smallest in the world. That is not correct. That is a lot below the average.

Veale et al lists the studies they use as well as the general findings of these studies. They then dissect each study. If you read their notes on Chrouser et al, they twice mention they only use the data from group 3 aged 19-49.

If you look at when the finale stage of male puberty (SMR stage 5 - the Tanner scale) is done, then both Tanner, Goldman and Jarret concludes that SMR5 happens between the ages of 12 and 17. Tanner adds 1-2 years for variance. So even including the variance to the findings of the 3 studies, all the guys in Chrouser's group 3 will be fully developed.

However, if Veale counts Chrouser as 253 measurements then that's of course an error. It will however not change the dataset for group 3. It will only reduce the number of measured people in Veale from 15,000+ to 15,000+. It doesn't impact the findings of Chrouser nor the findings of Veale.

In terms of that facts and numbers in the studies, this is incorrect. I only take screen shots of the articles and look at the numbers. And the numbers prove to be misleading. 11.5 cm is far below the average of 13.1cm. So the study is mistaked. Anyhow, this is not a world study since Europe and the Middle East is not representive of the whole world. And the Veale also say comparison on race is not conclusive because only about 500 of the 15,000 men were from African land and even few of them were measured flaccid stretched. Not a fair number of participants.
But I will stop because I’m only analyze the numbers and don’t want to go on. There are more fun threads lol.

Stretched penis length is the best measurement because it is not arousal-depended and strongly correlates to erect penis length.

False according to studies. They found extensive variability in stretched flaccid stretched based on how flaccid one was and how hard the penis was pulled. This is clearly stated in many of the studies represented in Veale.

My erect and flaccid stretched have a difference of about .5in.

Flaccid stretched while cold and flaccid stretched while warm yeild different results.

I’m just speaking on the studies. No opinions here. But if you do have studies I would be glad to look at them to be proven wrong!
