very nice pics. Is it a requirement for them to "dress" to the left? At least in these pictures they all seem to have all their junk tucked to the left. Just an observation.

The traje de luces or "Suit of lights" is made by very specialized tailors, and the fit is very precise. They customarily allow extra volume in the left thigh for bullfighters to "dress to the left." It would undoubtedly be too snug to stuff their junk down the right leg.

Think of it from the tailor's perspective: it wouldn't be easy to switch sides, even if a matador requested it, because it would go against the tailor's ingrained experience, cutting patterns, and stitching technique.
