You made the assumption in your post on it actually lol. Of course not everyone's goal is the same, but to say he wouldn't want to be in Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt or even Channing Tatum position is again absurd. Who wouldn't want to make $15-20 million per film? There was a reason he signed up for American Assassin. It was supposed to be his big breakout moment for other big box office roles in the future.

damn he looks goodHe also stayed out of the Spotlight due to the constant criticism about his current girlfriend (who is another can of worms, i must Say) but yeah, he is still a bit anxious when alone in interviews but totally fine when in group. I feel he just like acting in general, he may want to stay on B side projects and the likes, after all he wanted to be Spiderman long ago but recently he Said he wouldn't touch any superhero related project.

Maybe things got mixed up because the Saturday Night movie will have a limited premiere in New York on the same day of the Live SNL, which also marks the show's 49th anniversary and season 50 premiere.
It didn't even get Chappell Roan right because it said she was the premiere musical guest when she is in episode 5. So lame getting people's hopes up like that.

It's also important to remember that SNL hosts are usually artists who are trending or in need for exposure for a project. Dylan is slowly coming back to the industry, he's been working steadly for the past 4 years. If anyone from the SN movie had a chance to be invited to host the show that would be someone like Rachel Sennott or Willem Dafoe.

I can see Rachel Sennott hosting for sure. I think hosts are lined up through November, so there are still upcoming episodes that have yet to be announced before Christmas break.

I just want a full front shirtless scene, I really need a high quality picture of him shirtless.
But I really like the fact, that he is shirtless in every movie and appearance in all his recently projects.
