So I followed their whole process and journey because all along they'd been hinting at spicier stuff. And for the past year or so, now that they're supposedly where they wanna be. I.e. now that they have extorded dumb sugar daddies into paying them groceries, appartments, furniture and getaway homes in the tropics, I feel like they're trying to phase me out of their viewership. It's insulting.

This is very interesting, because a lot of what you wrote is exactly what I've thought for years.

I found their content early on in their YT career, when they were still living in Brazil. Their videos seemed more spontaneous, genuine, sincere - though, as an artist myself, I know that can be easily fabricated.
Regardless, those were fun videos, if somewhat repetitive at times. I really liked the ones in which they visited different waterfalls and natural parks.

Once they moved to the US, I hoped they would keep doing those kinds of videos, but alas, they didn't. It quickly seemed as if they had lost sight of what they wanted to do with their chanel, so I stopped watching them.

This was way back in 2019, way before the pandemic.

I completely forgot about them, and decided to look them up recently. And boy oh boy!

I feel sorry for Adam, I really do; I have relative who struggle with mental health and it really has the potential to ruin a person's life. But let us be honest here, hi going after this new age holistic bullshit isn't really the way to heal. But to each their own.

What I find most shocking, though, is how they really have no long-term horizons for their relationship. They just seem lost and directionless, which is clearly manifested in that obsessive thing they have for moving. They seem to be searching for a perfect place outside themselves, all the while never being satisfied wherever they land at.

Truly bizarre if you ask me.

And someone on another comment said something about them not having a content. And I gotta agree! Their content was fun - at least to me - when they lived in Brazil, but asked to live off of their content, they come up with the most boring, unteresting videos possible. When they both worked in Brazil their content was a break from their work routine; without proper work their lives are just boring.

Also, Adam, if that was him indeed, going off at this thread goes to show how their personalities changed. They were super approachable here in Brazil, attested by a number of people who actually met them, to now going off in an online forum. Damn.

At last, some other comment said something about them having financial difficulties in the future. Adam may suffer from that, but I hardly believe Bernardo will. The guy's got a government job in Brazil, and those are for life. The moment he decides to go back to Brazil he can have his old life back. Will he? I don't think so.
The (sad) fact of the matter is that, once these social media types take a sip of the coll aid, they don't wanna go back to working regular jobs. I mean, would anyone? When you can just post a video every fortnight, open a patreon, and live off of donation?
