Honest question: Is this shirt too tight to wear to the gym? I think it's a little too tight. My wife says it's not too tight as long as I stay skinny. If you saw a guy wearing this shirt, would you think, "Too tight, trying to show off." Or would you not really notice because you couldn't care less what someone's wearing as long as it doesn't stink up the atmosphere?
(sorry, not good picture quality, blurry, and the more I look at them, the less I like them).

Don't enlarge them. They look better from a distance.

I'd say if it doesn't hinder your workout, wear it. Or, what SprinkleMe said "Post shower put this shirt on to strut your stuff."

It's fine.

I wear things roughly like that, but you look better in yours.

Most men at mine tend to wear looser stuff, but nobody really cares what others wear.

If I ever got a comment I'd just ask "ok ...so ...which is better ...paying "too much" attention to what I wear? ...or moaning and bitching about what other people wear? ...sheesh - just get on with maximising your own workout... "

That shirt looks good on you. Does it feel tight to you? If it's comfortable then keep it. It doesn't look extra tight, just hugs you perfectly.

But then again, I'm not your wife and you have to live with her. So do like my husband: listen to me, and do what you want.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Is it uncomfortable? No.

One reason I like Under Armour type shirts is they stay out of the way.

As for sleeveless/tanks, they're pretty common there. Not my thing, and my wife would never let me own one, anyway.

Maybe I'll just leave it in the back of the drawer and pull it out once in a while when I'm feeling "body confident." :biggrin1:

it looks a little tight, but nothing to worry about. You got enough muscle to get away with it.

A slightly looser shirt looks sexier in my opinion (not that you are necessarily going for a sexy look at the gym) A looser shirt drapes over the muscle and shows off that there is a great body underneath it but leaves some mystery. I recently saw a guy in an airport with a killer body but the shirt was so short and tight it just screamed "Look at me...I'm amazing" ....... Subtle is best..and hotter too

I agree with Novaboy. A super tight shirt just looks like you're trying too hard. I think it's much sexier to look a little more nonchalant. I see a lot of 50 something gay guys who look new to working out wearing little white spandex shirts and it's not a good look. I mean, good for them for working out, but don't look so studied! Relax.

i personally just think it would be uncomfortable.. if its comfortable wear it, it really doesn't say anything. to be hoenst wheenver i see guys built like you inthe gym wearing stuff liket hat , all i think is "one day ill have arms like that" its motivation

Thanks.

The fabric really isn't that comfortable. But Nike is way softer than Under Armour. UA is too scratchy. I wouldn't wear the shirt outside the gym, or as an undershirt, for example. However, I like the way the tightness feels.

Also, the very first time I wore one I was hesitant because it can definitely be 'a look.' However, after the first two minutes I was convinced there was no turning back. I never had realized how cotton shirts get in the way. They gap, grab, etc. Also, I have to admit, from an aesthetics standpoint, the regular cotton t-shirts add about 20 pounds of blocky bulk. I wore one to the gym once and realized how much heavier and less fit I looked.

Too tight. I can see your belly. You are in decent shape, but the shirt went beyond

You say you don't wear tanks? Why is that? I find tanks to be great to see my form especially in doing shoulders- delts, lats and arms. I don't like the muscle tanks that UA has. If that's what you are referring to yeah I'm not a fan. Is that shirt a compression style or just a size smaller than what you usually wear?
