Sometimes ADHD means you don't do stuff, and sometimes ADHD means your brain doesn't let you do anything else other than what it's thinking about >.<

I know spider vore is pawbably not everypony's thing, especially when it's external digestion, but for whatever silly reason this ended up being the next card I was focused on :3

Also for whatever silly reason even though I know that spider vore is not going to be as popular as other card concepts I'm working on, I still ended up giving this one a really complicated forest background X3

But it was fun to draw, so it's all good <3 I honestly expected this one to come out worse, this is an art style that's pretty out of my comfort zone. The result isn't perfect and isn't exactly what I was thinking about when I started it, but I'm happy with it anyway because when I started drawing this I expected that I'd get halfway through and have to throw it away and come up with a new concept X3 I'm very pleased that I was able to get a workable background at all. Pokemon cards tend to have lots of different art styles depending on the subject, which is fine when you can get multiple artists to draw them, but is trickier when you're just one fox trying to imitate all of them X3 But that's also part of the fun, it forces me to stretch a little.

It's not super-common to find even on Aryion, but I have a soft spot for spider vore where the spider is as large or larger than the prey and does the whole external digestion trick. Webbing up prey is obviously really fun, and saving prey for later that way is a fun dynamic. <3 Blame Shelob from Return of the King, that spider deeply confused my asexual brain growing up X3 That entire scene where she's just looming over Frodo from behind and squirting venom out of her stinger before striking and wrapping him up... O///O

I have Swallow cards planned for both Spinarak and Ariados, but I'm not doing these in any particular order, so I suspect they won't be the next cards that I tackle.
