| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was fucking beautiful. From the comedy, to the fan service (naked apron ftw), and to the cooking of course. It looks liked we got some fish this week. Not a fan of fish but they made it look fabulous with the cooking style: I just love Soma and Isshiki's chemistry though lol. They can really craft some amusing moments out of this show. Kinda cute to see Erina in a ponytail I guess. She always gives off this intimidating presence but I do respect her skills in cooking. Also loved the allusion at the beach and sumo gimmicks. |

For a moment, I though she was enjoying his lobster recipe until the hippopotamus barricade appeared. XD Decent episode. New girl incoming, just to get owned by Souma soon. | I thought it will get faster but they are doing it quite slow and seems like Ikumi arc is gonna be 2 episodes.Anyway it was another awesome episode and if it keeps going this slow, it might be less than 50 chapters cover till episode 24.... |
| In this episode Erina is still a bitch. Souma keeps being a badass with his cooking, I love it. I have a feeling Ibusaki is part of the Elite, he is pretty mysterious. Oh, we get the 'murica tits girl next episode.... expecting something interesting. |
 Yay, the best and most interesting girl in the series is getting introduced in the next episode, Mito Ikumi (Nickname: Nikumi (only allowed to be called by Souma though :P))! For those who think that she's a cliche character, be ready to get overwhelmingly surprised :). Be warned, these are real spoiler underneath, even if a bit mild since its just me outing my love for this character xP. So open on your own risk. |

| The way everyone eats food in this anime reminds me of Gin no Saji but the more extreme/ecchi version XD Is Ibusaki (the quiet bangs guy) one of the elite ten? I wonder when Souma will start having difficulties when cooking... I mean isn't it impossible for him to lose in one of these Shokugekis, since he'd probably have to put his expulsion on the line (I'm guessing he would try and challenge people at the top of the food chain from the get-go)? Also, he's the protagonist, so idk I just hope he isn't just able to breeze through everything. |

| I don't like Erina, but I don't hate her as much as other people do. The most mysterious character in this anime is Ibusaki, not only is his face never shown, he's quiet and didn't even have a foodgasm. | Great episode, as usual. I don't like how Erina is using her cooking skill to boss people around, and seemingly change the school to meet her personal tastes. Hopefully there are Elite 10 members other than Isshiki who are decent human beings. Speaking of Isshiki, did you notice that he never really answered Souma's question about his family having a Japanese restaurant. So he's still a mystery, really. |
| Good episode this time. Things are still unclear about some characters but can't wait to see the next. I've also become pretty hungry right now. |
