| I was unsure about the art at first, but I got used to it by the end. Serafu is cute. Spiky-haired anime girls are the best. DIY girl seems cool too. Anyone else get Ramona Flowers vibes from the rollerblading? |

| This was amazing, I already loved it based on the theme being DIY but I didn’t expect this wonderful art to go with it, it’s a beautiful show, it definitely reminds me a bit of Eizouken in that regard. I’m definitely a fan of Serufu as the MC, I love how relaxed she is about everything and her relationship with Miku or “Purin” is cute, and Miku herself being a tsundere for Serufu is nice touch lol. And it also seems we’re in a near-future setting with the futuristic bus and the roomba that’s also an Alexa lol, not to mention how wild that school looks. And I’m already liking the contrast of technology and old fashion here, the way the schools are built kinda portrays that too. Also I love the pig, the pig is a delight lol. And I don’t know if that was the OP or the ED at the end of the episode but I really liked it. This will without a doubt be a favorite of mine this season. |

| Now, this is peak. This show has grabbed me, hook, line, and sinker. There are many ways to write a clumsy protagonist, and Serufu is a prime example of one done right. Hope she survives to the end of the series lol. Animation was much more fluid than I expected coming in, like the little details, for example, Serufu riding a bike felt like it had more passion put into it than some entire anime series. I was smiling the entire episode. Wholeheartedly would recommend this to anyone who wants to watch a chill show to relax. |
| I can really empathize with the clumsiness of Serufu. I too was a disaster when it came to handcrafts. Also, the setting, animation and overall character really stand out. Great start, this is promising. |

| This was a great first episode. I'm loving the art style and animation. |
| I knew from the previews that I was going to be interested in this series a great deal due to its creativity and originality, but this first episode truly goes above and beyond. The fluidity of the animation, the character and life in the movements and actions of the cast, the sheer warmth of the series with its comedy and knowledge sprinkled throughout. There's so much extra content here that I wasn't expecting at all that just goes so above and beyond. The pieces about the superiority and quality of technology in the world, shown through Purin and Serufu was really impressive. Even just in terms of colors, Purin's scenes are all very much cooler colors and the like, and whenever she's nearby or around Serufu, she is always taller. Whether it be because of the hill that they live on, or the different high schools they go to, the show puts Purin atop Serufu in every situation. Conversely though, Serufu's scenes are far more natural and warm, the colors of their houses being a good example of that. It's just wild how much they put into a narrative that people might not even be that interested in due to how well executed the DIY and warm-feeling moe is in this series. Even then though, were you really expecting Sakuga from a DIY anime? Because I certainly was not. So many scenes that have startlingly impressive animation work done on them, not just from a creative perspective like Serufu's log house, but quality and accuracy, like Rei (who's VA is also voicing Suletta from The Witch From Mercury this season) working away on fixing Serufu's bike up early on in the episode. So I'll just say it, this is this season's Akebi. Creative angle on a SoL following girls doing their daily life, and the cast will slowly expand to include more. The crazy quality matched with unrivaled comfort, warmth, and positivity, and while it's not incredible fidelity, it's incredible animation that works astonishingly well thanks to the near limitless potential of the art style. Everybody should be watching this show this season, because damn does it ever make you feel good. |

| Looking at the art style and character designs I thought this was a Trigger show. So I was waiting for something weird and crazy to happen lol, especially with those shots of drones at the beginning. But glad it'll probably be a nice and comfy iyashikei. |

| "Do It Yourself" I was curious about this anime, I liked it xd. I like the drawing style. I liked Serufu, also reminded me a bit of Yui from K-on xd. | I really like the art style of this aside from the CGI cars that look out of place and Im a bit thrown how Serufu is the only character with a white open mouth? That is one cool looking school. The animation is really good. I noticed a little detail that wasn’t even necessary but was added where lightly tapped the drill bit before Yasaku grabbing it because it was hot from friction. I cringed hard at that runaway screwdriver/drill. I felt that .... Heh that silly wordplay of a name. Serufu is cute. I hope the show focuses on more than building furniture and other woodwork some times. |

| A great first episode. This was cute and enjoyable. Serufu kinda reminded me of Yui from K-on. Purin is a tsundere but in friendship lol. Serufu really named her pig "meat" lmao and the pig cowering in a corner while they were eating pork haha, bro must have been scared for his life. Serufu seems fun, I like her as a MC. That feeding candy flashback was cute. LOL the Yua Serufu pun thoough haha. Liked this episode a lot, more than Mob Psycho's new episode (surprisingly). 5/5. Looking forward to next one. |

| The art style is certainly something to get used to. Main character is too much of an airhead for my taste, but the premise is quite interesting. If this is anime is like what Stuff Made Here or Mark Rober do, then I might stick around. I almost mistook Ayaneru here, but I guessed it right before credit roll. Commencing 3 episode rule. If anyone is curious about Yua Serufu: The time I first heard her name I was like 'what the hell is that name' and the Senpai agrees. When she writes her name, I couldn't make sense how to read it, it's 結 which reads Yui, Ke(kkon), Musubi (bond, tie) and 愛 which reads ai (love). Apparently when the two combine it reads Yua for some reason. And せるふ (serufu) doesn't practically mean anything other than self. |

| Bro, that poor pig is living it's life in fear everyday lmao. That was a great start! We've seen this kind of premise before where mc saw someone doing some hobby or something and then she'll end up loving and be passionate about that, but this show still has a unique feeling to it, you know. The world seems pretty interesting as well, kind of more futuristic, like what's up with those drones flying everywhere. Got the biggest mindfuck as well when I realized Serufu's name was a pun lmao. Anyway, I can tell this is gonna get even more fun when we start building some shit. Looking forward to the next episode. |
